Bingo.com has taken important steps toward enhancing technology infrastructure for its game portal, http://www.bingo.com. The product of the Level 3 and Sun Microsystems relationships now provide Bingo.com with complete scalability using state-of-the-art equipment and high-speed networks. This increased capacity allows Bingo.com to rapidly expand its business to meet the phenomenal growth that the company is experiencing.

The company’s scheduled migration to the Oracle database platform in September will complete the improvements required to upgrade Bingo.com’s technology infrastructure to be on par with other global Web providers such as eBay and Yahoo.

Bingo.com Surpasses 30 Million Bingo Cards Played

50% Growth in Registered Users

Bingo.com Files for Patent

Method and Apparatus for Directing Interleaved Messages in a Network Based Interactive Application

MARINA DEL REY, Calif., May 24, 2000 – Bingo.com Inc. (OTC BB: BIGR), a vertical Internet media and entertainment company, announced today that it has filed a provisional patent application with the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office for a Web-based service to target and deliver specific merchandise offers to registered users.

The service will enable Bingo.com and its partners to deliver multimedia shopping opportunities targeted to each individual registered user at Bingo.com, while the users play free multiplayer bingo games and chat online. For example, a player from the East Coast who indicates a preference for grocery savings and electronic equipment will be able to see such opportunities while at the same time a player in Los Angeles sees new car deals and vacation packages, and so on. The players will have an opportunity to fulfill the order without interrupting their online game-playing experience. While the service will be integrated into the online game-playing environment, it is modular and can also be licensed to other online and offline companies for any product or service.
